He is a great looking dog, big box head and nice big muscular structure. I hope no one minds me saying this, but he looks more like the larger Aussie Bulldogs that were originally being produced.

Gidday Cameron,
he is a typical original style Aussie bulldog in type, like plenty of others floating around the countryside. Good type and structure, which can always be easily bred with the more brit look to produce solid dogs with good strong heads.
The way I see the future for Aussie bulldogs, is that they will always float between these 2 types, which are 17 inch 28kg, and 20 inch 38kg. This is where the percentages, bloodlines and the general appearance all come into play.

Chopper is a 75% dog, sired by a British and out of a 50/50 american bulldog/brit mother. He is a half brother to our snoopy and fleck.

He will do well to keep some height in some of the shorter, stockier, higher percentage females coming through at the moment. Obviously he carries the liver nose gene too.
A bit of a shame he is a lower percentage dog, could use more dogs built like him and his colour.

Hi all,
we are new to all this so im still trying to find my way around, im not the greatest on a computer, chopper was bred by Banda kennels, his mum is Eldaron Impala & his dad is BH Tyson, Chopper is only 75% but he is everything we wanted when we first looked at buying a Aussie. After having chopper a few months we loved the breed so much & wanted to help promote this beautiful breed of dog we bought a high percentage bitch to put him over, hopefully they will produce some great looking offspring in the future. As we still have so much to learn & this might be a stupid question but could someone please tell me when your talking about liver nose does that me the colour of the nose ?
Cheers

Hi Sam,
We have Chopper's sister Connie.
Cheers Michelle.

P.S. Yes liver pigment is liver colour instead of the typical black.

Sam, you should increase your chances of producing cinnamon (Liver) coloured pups out of your female from Savannah back to Chopper as they both carry the gene. It will be interesting when the time comes to see what they produce together Very Happy
