Hi Lisa,

We were very lucky sky was very strong and healthy British Bulldog she lived until she was 11 and died in her sleep of old age . Unfortunatly the other little fellow Morris was the opposite in health he had almost all of the problems you have been told about in a BBD  he was the walking version of it Poor Bugger. In saying this he had a Fantastic personality as ALL bulldogs do and with thousands spent on vet Bills he managed to live until he was 8.
Due to the amount of money spent on vet bills and the amount of worrying my family and I had led to me choosing my first Aussie in yr 2000.

Regards
Matt

they are gorgeous...but i really think that if they are bred correctly with health in mind, breeders could eliminate most of these issues..obviously the british is never going to be free of health problems but isnt that the same as other breeds too,it really looks like u done a fantastic job raising these guys,i take my hat off to u.i had a boxer in the uk that had all of the probs under the sun,u name it he had it,in the end after spending probably thousands as well we eventually had him put to sleep(due to cancer developing in his hind legs) that was the sadest day of my life, driving him to the vet knowing his fate.then after breeding my boxer bitch she died 6 days after birth  and we found our selves bottle feeding them to keep them going, but at the same time thinking of my precious girl, that was no longer with  me,it was just like loosing a family member, that was the final straw for me for breeding after doing it for years.after that i did not breed for a good 10 years, then we fell in luv with the aussie and never looked back, and find our selves getting into it even more than the boxers we bred, but my bad experience is always at the back of my mind worrying if it will happen again.i think as long as u give them the best quality of life,ur doing the best u possibly can.

would luv to see some more pics

thanx lisa and stu
