Your so right about them sleeping through a tornato. When there is a thunder storm all the neighbours dogs start barking but Bosco is too busy snoring          

Atleast you are conscious of his hearing
It's a wonder he kept them on.
The first thing he will chew out of them, is the cushioned rubber rings, when you're not looking.
