My dogs usually sleep on the front patio on their beds. Their beds used to be in their kennel - but they refused to sleep in there and I couldn't stand them to sleep on the cold cement patio floor so I gave in and moved their beds up. There they can see everyone passing by, everyone coming and going and they get a pat anytime someone walks out the front door. It also makes me smile whenever I look out our glass front door and see them asleep with their tongue hanging out or rolling on their backs or whatever. Of course our 9kg cat had to prove to the dogs who REALLY owned the house. And believe me - the dogs don't argue with Mr Speckles
Mr Speckles sleeps pretty much wherever he likes. And he likes any box or any pile of clothes - clean, dirty, ironed, folded, not folded, on the lounge, in a basket, on the floor....He's not fussy at all.
Better than my other cat - his last stoopid place to sleep was IN the dryer.

Believe it or not - he is still here and still crazy. His name is Peanuts because hubby wouldn't let me call him Psycho. So we shorten it to Nutso.
I got quite a shock when I reached in to pull the dry clothes out I can tell you. the dryer is on the wall and I am flat out seeing into it. The photo was taken after I pulled the clothes out from under him. He wasn't going to move for me to do that.
And I actually did shut the door on him out of habit - twice. Luckily I remembered before I left the laundry and went back and opened it. |
