Thought I would share some photos of our local beach, around about 1/2 hour from here.Nice quiet spot called Woodgate .When it is not school holidays the beach is as quiet as can be.Candy usually goes with us as she loves to play in the sand and be in the car with us where ever we go Very Happy
The Aussies also will have their turn,Tim Tam has already been and I might take Fudge this week if I am feeling better.

There's 14 kilometres of continual beach.
In the first photo, where it sweeps around to the left, that is the mouth of the Burrum river. We back onto the Isis river which runs into the Burrum, and also the Gregory and Cherwell rivers run into the Burrum. On the southern side of this outlet, is Hervey bay and Burrum heads.
Within a 30 minute radius, there are 7 rivers in this area.
16 main creeks run into our river, so God knows how many in total in the Bundaberg Hervey bay area.
Water was one of our concerns when we lived at Withcott, always running out. Fixed that problem. Wink

To tell you the truth, it totally changed our lives for the better.
Its amazing how you can get caught in your own boring area and never realise what you are missing. The momentum for our move, started with 2 weeks holiday in Tassie, then 12 months later, 2 weeks holiday by road from Qld to the great Ocean road and back home, 5000klm. Only a matter of months later , we were selling up.
Far too many nice places in Australia to be living. No need to live and die in a hell hole.
Beautiful Country, I love it. Wink

I don't think we will be moving anywhere for about 10 years. We are still unpacking stuff.

My partner & I spent a day @ Woodgate beach while we were living in Noosa. Went to Turtle sands for a weekend to catch up with relo's in Bundy. Some nice beachs & great fishing around there. Very Happy
