IDEAL PERCENTAGES FOR BREEDING AUSSIE BULLDOGS13/16 has been the desired percentage, because by the time you reach it from any direction of breeding, it seems to always retain strength in type.
The biggest determining factor when getting to, or near this percent, is always going to be the quality of dogs, and compatibility of the pairings that produce this percent.
We have 13/16 bitches that are out of a 5/8 bitch and sired by a british, that are all producing quality consistant pups.
Matings of 7/8 dogs back to 3/4 females , are producing the same quality and consistency.
11/16 females back to 15/16 males , are also producing pups that look just like their cousins from other matings.
Obviously the better quality of parentage behind each chosen line, is going to always result in better quality pups at the same percentage.
Then once all our dogs are close to 80%, everyone will be able to clearly tell which lines of dogs are throwing continual consitency, and once these lines are established, then they will be bred back to each other for as long as we have dogs to use.
All of the above paired percentages married together make 13/16.
8/16 is the same as 1/2 =50%
9/16 = 56.25%
10/16 is the same as 5/8 =62.5%
11/16 =68.75%
12/16 is the same as 3/4 = 75%.
13/16 =81.25%.
14/16 is the same as 7/8 =87.5%.
15/16 = 93.75%
16/16 =100% just to complete the picture.
