NSW Fun Day Photos - 29th April 2007We had a fantastic day in Forster. The weather was great - was a little worried on Saturday morning but it picked up from there to be perfect on Sunday.
8 Beautiful aussies turned out with the humans in toe Humans weren't too bad either but I was checking out the dogs no offence.
I have over 300 photos so will take some time to sort through them and share the best.
Here is shot of each dog who came to the day.
Jada
Jada is such a lovely little lady - I think she was the eldest attendee at approx 3 yrs. She was a real talker strangest sound I every heard bit like a tazzi devil.
Buddha
Buddha Well this one is mine.... And he was in fine form - you wouldn't have known he has had the snip.. he has just discovered the joys of humping and didn't stop all day.. Thanks everyone for a fantastic day buddha really enjoyed himself and wanted to come back the next day. He has been sleepining since we left forster this morning - might wake up in a day or two.
Max and Sarbi
Max was a quiet big beutiful boy.
Sarbi was a curious little lady getting around to check everyone out.
Britany and Mango
Britany was also quiet little lady - a bit overwhelmed I think....
Mango was the calmest dog we have ever seen. It has been a big week for Mango!
Tasco and Tarni
Tasco a lovely boy the photos just don't do him justice -- he is really something special.
Tarni was a gorgeous lady that buddha couldn't resist.... She didn't mind the attention either. Maybe cause buddha technique is off and being a lady of the world she knew it.

Hello everyone.
We had a great day at Forster - my nearly 17 yr old said it was the best day ever. May have only been a small gathering - but it was fantastic. Got to meet some great dogs, some really nice people and share some great ideas and info and generally just have some fun. Here are some pics I thought I would share.

BuddhaBuddha - Duke of Mertonvale - owner of Naomi and Stephane.
A beautiful big boy with a huge tongue and very 'loving' personality. A gorgeous boy .
By the way, thanks Naomi for organising the venue etc.

JADAJada - Macobri Just Dandy - owner of Colleen Ralph of Dandy Aussie Bulldogs.
Naomi got the description of Jada down pat. A sweet girl who was very tolerant of all the young pups around her. And what a funny little voice. Definately Colleen's baby. Colleen had some great handy hints to share and it was lovely to meet her.
Naomi forgot to mention that she found out Jada's secret - she just looovves a tummy rub
Yes that is bliss you can see on her face

The Gang from JostonesMax is a gorgeous boy from Jostones Bulldogs. He owns Jason and Jo and a few kids. A gorgeous boy with a placid personality.
Can I have a drink? Huh? Can I?
And the gorgeous Maple Lee Sarabi. She was the only puppy in attendance - and stole everyone's hearts. I am positive we all would have happily stolen her away given the chance. A credit to the Maple Lee gang and a promising future for Jostones.
Gee - I hope you want to be friends, Tarni. You are a lot bigger than me.
(By the way Tina I think you're right - Sarabi and Tasco would go good together )

Reedmans Aussie BulldogsThe gang from Reedmans Aussie Bulldogs brought along two beautiful girls.
JAG Vanilla Mango - This well travelled girl has found a wonderful home and has settled in really well. Although she seems to still be a little bit jet-lagged. Many of my photos seemed to catch her snoozing
Brittany - a gorgeous girl from the Tazman gang originally - was a lovely natured girl. A gorgeous red brindle, who liked to hide under the table with her family. Unfortunately I didn't get many pics of her - but the one I got of her by herself - she is being the typical aussie - using her tongue.
It was lovely to meet Karen and her family and I will be very interested to see her future puppies out of both of these exceptional girls.

At the beachSome of us headed to the beach for a bit of fun. Of course, it had been raining at our place till 3am, so we were prepared for cool weather and all wore jeans. Not the best attire for the beach - but we made do. The dogs had a ball. The three younger dogs loved going for a swim - while Jada preferred to watch from the beach.
LET'S GO!
Tasco and Buddha
"I'm not getting my paws wet!" says Jada
BLERKKKKKK - Salt Water! Buddha isn't impressed
Colleen and Jada
Jada and Tas
Buddha really liked Tarni - and Tas didn't mind too much
We left our mark on the beach. AUSSIE BULLDOGS RULE!!!

ALSO AT THE BEACHThought some of you guys might be interested in the fish haul they got on the beach just as we were arriving. I know nothing about fish - so I have no idea what they caught - but there were a lot of them.
Forster/Tuncurry is a lovely little beachside place. A nice place for a visit.

After effectsWhen we got back from the beach, we were all pretty tired. We had a quick drink and rest before we packed up and headed home.
Tarni was pretty tired.
When we got home at 6.30, Tasco only just made it onto the patio before he crashed out. Tarni actually made it to her bed
Yes we did take pity on them and invite them inside
Once inside, they curled up in their positions - Tarni on the lounge with her favourite toy(a stuffed bunny that she sucks like a dummy) and Tasco on the foor where I can put my feet on him like a footstool. They were that tired that they were having muscle spasms - so they got snuggled up in their blanket. They're not spoilt!
It was a tiring day - but we all loved it. When's the next one???

Hi everyone
As you can see by the great photos we had a terrific day at Forster. Noami, you should plan another Aussie Day in Spring and make it a Saturday so we can stay over Sat night.
I have a few shots to share :
Mango and Brittany.
Both ducking for cover. Brittany wouldn,t stop barking at the other dogs, I don,t think people believed me when I said she is usually a couch potato !!
Budda and Max having a sniff, rear photo of Tasco
Random picture of Robyns daughter with Tarni, Sarbi and Mango

Mango and Max checking each other out
Max
A very nice boy owned by jostone bred by Paul Cox
Tarni
Tarni is such a great girl, nothing seemed to faze her.
Sabri- The heart stealer of the show, we all loved her!!
I thought this moment was very cute when she was checking out the water bottle
Tasco
On the go, a very stunning boy, the best mahogany red with all those wrinkles
Just had to finnish of with my girls

Caught in the act.....In cleaning up the photos I notice these images of Tasco in the background...... He nearly got away with it
THese are blown up heaps as it was small in the corners or background of the photos.
Buddha is known for this as well - He will have a drink and then leave his scent... We think it so his scent spreads further.

I liked the side on photo of brittaney and mango as well.
I noticed Tasco doing the refreshments rounds, topping up water dishes and colouring the ice in the eskies.Atleast he stuck to one main area of concern.

I'm just glad he stuck to HIS water bowl and OUR esky. Slightly less embarrassing

ME TOO!! AND SHE'S MY DOG !
I think she is actually shaking her head/body as we had just got back from the beach - I think .
I was pretty proud of her - Buddha was VERRRY affectionate and enamoured with her ALL day. And I think she only told him to " Buzz Off" at about this time - just before we all packed it in for the day. She gave him a warning and then said "SCRAM!" .
Buddha wasn't fazed - so we humans tied him up just a little away and gave her a break. Lo and behold if she didn't go back over to him 5 minutes later ! She must've decided she was too rough on him - I mean its not his fault she is so gosh darn sexy

Hi Naomi,
Buddha would have to have the longest tongue I have seen on a dog his size.
Sure is a beauty.

He does have a long tongue although it gets abnormally long when he is excited.... Which is a lot.. he is a very excitable dog...
He had a fantastic time at the fun day...
