Frank! you should have told me.
No, really we couldn't come because we were whelping pups and Tina and I had this Flu.
Is there any more photo's.
I noticed a few dogs in the background that didn't have individual photos, and a lot of dogs there I wouldn't have a clue where they're from. |

Noel, the pink collared pup(Xena) is one of Valkyrie's pups as well as the white pup with the patch on the eye, Xena looks just like her dad Jackaroo where our Helga looks like her mum Val. Noel, if you have anymore questions about who the dog is, just ask, i think we got to meet them all. and as for Monty, afraid he won't be following in Meatballs footsteps as he's missing some important equipment as he was wanted as a pet only.
and as for lunch, we thought it was just snacks, as everyone was told to bring there own lunch, but what happened is we was having such a good time talking about the dogs that NO one except for some of the kids, bothered having any lunch and was happy with the snacks...and Joe, those dog snacks was the same thing the fancy meat tray had on it, the ends and such but there was nothing there that would hurt you, our dogs eat well
we was thinking about April or May would be good for the next fun day, please leave your thoughts here and we will see what we can put together. that way we could have a spring and fall fun day, twice yearly if that suits everyone? we think a year is wayyyyyyyyy to long before seeing you all again. |

Two fundays a year is a good idea.
I think QLD, NSW and VIC are sorting out all the finer details for a nice steady run of fundays twice a year in all these states with established areas and standard procedures. Good on you all for putting in a huge effort to make it happen.
Tina and I will have to get our slack arses to one or more of them in the future. Pups seem to be our biggest hold up. We try not to have any litters during summery months, November to end of February, but thats of no help. |

Hey Joe, atleast as Frank said, the dog nibblies were human nibbly offcuts,
About 35 years ago, we were eating meatballs in gravy at an old friends of my parents place in central QLD. My father wasn't too fussed on the taste, but us 3 boys were heading for seconds, when me oldman walked out with a homebrand tin of meatballs and gravy dog food he had grabbed out of the bin.
I can distinctly remember seeing a sketch of plutos head at the bottom of the tin can, but this old lady obviously needed to start thoroughly reading labels. We didn't get crook, but it was a memorable meal.
Haven't eaten meatballs since then, and I don't think any of my brothers have either.

Hi Frank & Ida
I think having another fun day early in the year is a good idea , I was actually talking to Michelle ( from Kyger ) while she was here last sunday about maybe holding a north coast fun day in March April , so we can cover both ends of the coastline . There are a few top spots close to Noosa to hold one , Michelle's husbands parents also run the football club kiosk there and said that they may be able to open it up for the day for a gathering , nice treed grounds and toilets as well. There's also a lake that they take their dogs to with BBQ area's around Noosa, so we were going to look into that for a few options. Plus people may even like to do other things while they are in town .
Given the drive time from the Wide Bay area to south side of brisbane , thought it would be something to think about as theres alot of coastline in between with Aussie owners .
