Thanks Noel - I'll take credit for Tonka cos he's Lola's dad - not for his grumpiness towards the other dogs though...   Wink   I think I'm this ' ' close to getting his owner to register him with the UABA, so hopefully we'll see more of his progeny around to carry on the genes of Bentlan Red Dozer...   Laughing

I've decided to get another bitch from his next litter, which will hopefully be in 2 months as we've just joined them this week - she'll be a full sister to Lola...   Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Hi Noel,

I have gone back and updated Lisa's pics with the names that I know (hope you don't mind Lisa)

There was so many dogs and I had so many names said to me within the four hours, I am surprised I can remember as much as I did with the photos I took. Considering I just asked for their names and dogs names. Next time I will have to ask for Kennel names and which breeder they got the dog off.

All the dogs were consistent and Paul Cox was impressed with the progress the Aussie Bulldog has already made since he shelved his breeding kennel name.

You could really tell which dogs belonged to Shrek, Sully, Rocky, and Dodge. They all looked like their dads.

Poor Dean, Priscilla chewed his hat so he didn't have anything to put on his head to control the wild hair. He has worked 8 weeks straight 7 days a week and hasn't had time to get a hair cut.....

The day was fantastic and hopefully our next special guest at the next one will be you or Tina  Wink

You done very well to remember that many.
It turns an enjoyable day into also an informative day when things are well documented. Everyone can learn from the finished product.

And yes, Bentlan Red Dozer would have been a fantastic dog to still have in the system. Just a couple of litters to his credit, and the benefits were obvious.
Did you see any studs that took your eye Merissa, or were most of them Married Very Happy

Warra Dozer from Aleve was definitely my fav, but unfortuantely he's a one-woman guy.  Hopefully one day Alex and Eve will change their minds and allow him for public stud...   Wink

I was hoping Koda would be there but Julie couldn't make it...   Crying or Very sad

I could easily have taken King home, but he's not suitable for Lola, and I think he's now Lisa's second husband.  hehe   Wink

Kong is my number 1 pick at this stage so it'll be interesting to see what happens with him and Astrid in the next few months...   Laughing

Wow !! it looks like everyone had a great day!

I would have loved to have been there, maybe i will plan a holiday to melbourne for next year!!

It would have been great to meet kirsty and paul cox  Smile  I braught 2 amazing pups of them who had a big influence in the NT and one of the  reason i have my beautifull little boy from Docida.

It also gives me a bit more motivation to arrange a get together for alice springs where everyone can get together . I have been thinking about it for a while.

Great photos and very interesting seeing all the dogs together!! Just beautifull!!

You ladies have got an excellent thing happening down in Victoria.
The ANKC would have been impressed with a gathering like that.
Just goes to show if you can get a couple of highly motivated people to work together on a main goal, then it will definitely be successful.

I was just curious as to the numbers of dogs and people, as well as how many drinks and burgers, and raffle tickets, T shirts and caps etc.
Who won the raffles and what they won.
What was in the show bag, and how come you didn't send me one Very Happy

Now that you have the bulk of things running smoothly, it will be the prototype for future events.

not sure about the raffles and stuff ,you would have to speak to sue or tammy for that info .with the bbq it cost around $230 to buy drinks and all the food ,the gas and ice and a few other bits we did for free.but we managed to get the money back we spent out and made approx $250 profit ,witch we thought was good for the first bbq weve done at a fun day.
gave sue all the money to use for next fun day ,next time will stick to sausages the bacon and egg didn't go to well ,drinks went well too.
so if anyone else is going to do a fundraising bbq stick to sausages they sell easy there simple and easy  Smile  Smile  Smile we have already said will do a bbq at the next fun day ,only draw back is you don't get to chat with as many peaple as you would like.will have to take a board next time to advertise the boys out to stud might be easier Smile
