Thought I might throw a couple more pics up.

I got an email the other day to notify me that one of my pics will be used for the front cover of the next edition of Vic Deerhunter mag. This is a UABA exclusive, I haven't posted this pic anywhere yet & the mag doesn't come out til January Smile

A stag 'preaching' (marking his scent)  Wink

Two stags duke'n it out.

The ass end of the loser as the winner looks on.

This young stag was scoping me out for a while though couldn't workout what I was. I was a long way from anywhere & this stag had most likely never seen a human before.

More to come.

Top photos.
You'll have something to sprook about now for a few years.
Some fellas don't even get into the Magazine, other than the front cover.
One thing about Deer, they know how to pick beautiful Country to live in.

Thanks for the replies guys  Wink

Yeah gives me bragging rights for a lil while Noel, might have to grab a few extra copies of that edition I think.

As for the deer in beautiful country, you're spot on there mate. I loved the beaches & forests of QLD while I was living up there but the rugged beauty of the snowy mountains is something else. I love the isolation & the thought that some areas I'm walking wouldn't have seen man for some time if ever. It's something every outdoor enthusiast should experience IMO.

Sounds like you will swap the rifle for a camera.
Seems to happen a lot.
The end result is more appealing to a larger audience too. Wink

I shoot plenty more with the camera than I do with the rifle Noel though if the freezer's empty or I'm lucky enough to 'hunt' a nice trophy animal then I'll take the shot.

Went out for a look Monday & seen this yearling with another 2 deer though I'd bet you'd be struggling to see the other deer in the pic, it was hard enough in person.

Bit hard carrying that bugger out of there.
I couldn't make out the others, even within the square.
