If you live in Longreach, try him on some goat meat.
My cousin Glen Green is in Longreach, on the Muttaburra road.
He feeds his dogs mainly on goat, boned out.

Advance is a lot more palatable than Hill's - well, so my dogs tell me!  Try mixing it through with fresh meat...   Laughing

Use cheese as a treat to get him to do things. It normally works every time.
