It does pay to keep them fit and trimmer, while they are growing, but he is looking like a tank.I dont think you would need to feed him any more than what you already are.
He will develop naturally into a solid dog.
Fat dogs are not really solid dogs, so no one should really over feed their bulldogs to gain size.
They can handle a little bit more condition on them during winter, but work it off them from september onwards to have them ready for the warmer months.
