Lola just can't seem to keep up with play sessions with her Border Collie brother.  It's hard work being a bulldog...

thanks.  i worry that she's not 'bulldog' enough in appearance - could just be that i live in an uneducated area that thinks anything red and bracycephelic is a boxer!  she has such long legs and a long body but i think if i mate her with a 90+% british her pups will be right on the mark.  i'm waiting to see what her % is - as she's registered with the ABS and i'm not sure yet.  i love her to bits though...  Razz

Hello Merissa.
Lola is from a Boxer ,Bullmastiff, American Bulldog, Background, and all of those breeds are leggy.
She is also 80% BBD, so there is only 20% influence from these leggier cousins, but they can dominate a bit too much if matings are done that link up to these lines too often.
A 90% male that has an obvious background of shorter more compact dogs, would be fine as a future stud. There are a good number of proven dogs around that percentage.
All the best.

Noel & Tina
