Hello everyone, I've been meaning to post for a while now but laziness and spending too much time on the computer at work make it all seem like an insurmountable chore. Moan, anyway.... We have had our pup "Percy" for a few months and he turns 5 months old tomorrow so I thought I should shrug off despondency and post a shot of the lad as I think he's the most handsome dog on the planet and needs to be appreciated by more than his very one eyed owners. For those of you obsessed with doggy weight as much as I am he is currently, as of tonight, 23 kgs. Having no experience with the growth patterns of Aussie Bulldogs I am curious to know if he weighs this at 5 months not having a lot of puppy fat, what should I expect him to weigh at maturity? personally I think the heavier the better although I do worry how my already struggling back will handle bath time if he chocks to much more on. Again a big hello to everyone out there that shares my quickly appreciating love of Aussie Bulldogs. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi there Ben

Welcome to the forum. Percy is, of course, gorgeous Very Happy , but then we are all a little biased here Laughing .

Who are his parents?

He looks very well behaved sitting there - or is it just that we can't see the treat being held out of camera shot? I know that is the way I get a lot of my 'perfectly behaved' bulldog photos

Brick is 10 months old and only 23.8 kg. I know he is a lot smaller than his other brothers. As long as your not over feeding him and he doesn't look fat, then it doesn't matter what weight he is.

Gidday Ben,
He is a fairly beefy looking young fella.
Looks like he will handle the weight, but as Eoin said, dont over feed him.
16 to 20 kgs would be more the standard weight for a 5 month male Aussie. He will more than likely be 35 to 40 kg as an adult.
He is looking good anyway.

I know what you mean about being too lazy to post on the board. Shane and I were viewing the site and the board for months before we even got our first Aussie and then it took months for me to actually register as a user and now I must admit I'm addicted (so is Shane).
Our boy nero is just over 10 months and is over the 30kg and was probably around the same weight as Percy at that age!
